I．緒言
ストマイ（以下SM）の憂慮される副作用は耳閉感，耳鳴，眩暈，難聴等がある。特に難聴は長期療養生活に耐え社会に復帰せんとする者にとつてはその苦悩は察するに余りある。最近当院を訪れた7例のSM難聴の患者にAdenosin triphorphate（以下ATP）を使用し聊かなりともその障害を緩解し慶びを頒ち得たのでその概要を報告する。
Adenosin triphosphate was used in 7 casesof hard of hearing, that were caused by streptomycin which failed to respond to treatments using 20 cc 20% glucose solution combined with 100 mg of vitamin B1 intravenously, with the following results:
Subjective as well as objective improvements were seen in 2 cases.
Subjective improvement but no audiometric improvement in 2 cases.
Remaining 3 cases showed about 57% improvement by audiometric tests.
