　I．緒言

　上顎洞の骨腫は文献には既に古くより報告をみる疾患であるが実際に遭遇することは比較的稀である。私は最近27歳の男子に発生した上顎洞骨腫に遭遇しその診断について考えさせられるものがあつたので私等の小経験を報告して臨床家の参考に供したい。

Although many cases of the osteoma of maxillary bone are reported in the literature it is seldom seen in practice. A man, aged complained of swelling of the right cheek and that of the hard palate which began since a few years ago. Examination showed an osteoma of the maxillary bone in volving the palate and extending into the pharyngeal process of the occipital bone. The author emphasizes the need of tomography in mak-ing the diagnosis.
