上顎軟骨腫の1例

MAXILLARY CHONDROMA

　I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域における軟骨腫は，いずれの部位に発生するものも稀であり，その報告例はきわめて少ない。

　鼻腔副鼻腔領域の軟骨腫は，鼻中隔と篩骨に原発するものが多く，上顎に原発するものは少ないとされている。

　われわれは，難治な上顎軟骨腫を経験したので報告し，文献的考察を加えた。

　A case of chondroma of the maxilla is reported. The patient is a man, aged 60, who complained of swelling of the right cheek and nasal obstruction of the right nare.

　The postoperative irradiation was given but apparently with no effect, the tumor recurred to become the original size an year and a half after the operation.
