　喉頭異物は気管，食道異物に比較して割合に少いものであるし，それも魚骨等鋭いものが声帯に刺入しているものが多いが，私達は蜜柑の皮が喉頭蓋軟骨茎の部分に水平に篏入していた珍らしい症例を観祭したのでここに報告する。

Foreign body of the larynx which is compa-rative rare in occurrence is reported. The offending foreign body consisting of orange peel about 13×13mm in size became lodged in the larynx when the patient, a woman aged 23, took a drink of water from a glass that contained it. The only factor that was found in the patient that caused a predisposition toward this accident appeared to be the fin-ding of an omega-shaped epiglottis.
