小児喉頭異物の1例

Laryngeal Foreign Body in an Infant―A Case Report

I．はじめに

　喉頭異物は，気道異物の5～10％を占めるに過ぎない^1,2）。時に呼吸困難に至るため早期診断が必要であるが，実際には呼吸器系の急性炎症に症状が類似し，診断が遅れることが少なくない。

　今回われわれは，小児の喉頭異物症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A 1-year and 6-month-old boy developed coughing spells after eating fish. He had been treated by pediatricians for possible asthmatic bronchitis,pneumonia and laryngitis. Repeated laryngofiberscopy revealed a fish bone in the glottic space. We performed direct laryngoscopy under general anesthesia,and removed it.

　Repeated laryngoscopy is important,if a foreign body is suspected.
