　序言

　余等の一人市原は本誌（25巻10号，27巻4号；27巻9号）上に於いて女性々的現象の鼻科領域に及ぼす影響に関して其の自覚症状，月経時に於ける他覚症状並に諸種の鼻疾患に及ぼす影響に就て報告したが，今回は妊娠前半期特に人工流産前後に於ける他覚症状に就て報告し諸賢の御批判を乞わんとするものである。

ICHIHARA and associates attempt to make observations in nasal mucous membrane cha-nges among females that may be influenced by their physiological sex cycle. In 10 gravid cases in 2nd, 3rd and 4th months of gestation, when operative termination of pregnancy was effected in each case showed in the majorityof their number engorgement of nasal mucous membrane which made its appearance on the following day of the operation and lasted for 3 days thereafter among those in the 2nd and 3rd months and 7 days for those in the 4th month. The more advanced the stage of ges-tation would be the greater the number that showed congestion in the nasal tissues which even led to epistaxis. Typical Fliess' area cha-nges were notea in 2 cases in the 2nd month (6.7%); 1 in the 3rd month (3.3%); 1 in the 4th month (3.3%).
