余の改良した深部止血鉗子について

　耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ける手術特に口蓋扁桃腺摘出術，頸部の手術等に際して深部を止血する時，コツヘル氏鉗子，ペアン氏鉗子等に依り止血する事自身は容易に行われても此を結紮する場合，結紮絲が鉗子に沿つて手許の方に帰り，困却する事がある。

　茲で余は確実なる止血，容易なる結紮を念頭に置き，次の如き止血鉗子を考按し，永島医療に製作させ，術を容易に施行している。

ICHIHARA devises a new hemostatic for-ceps to be used in hemostasis in deep structu-res as in cases of tosillectomy. The ordinary hemostatic tonsil forcep is modified with an addition of a protuberance of 0.7cm at an an-gle of 45 degrees the whole of which is added to one tongue of the forceps. On the protu-berance another addition 0.2cm protuberance is made for carrying the ligature without fear of it slipping out of place.
