女性性的現象の鼻科領域に及ぼす影響（續報）

　序言

　女性々的現象と鼻科領域との関係に就てはFliess（1897）以来諸氏の報告する所である。

　氏は種々の性的刺戟から鼻内粘膜一定部位即ち両鼻中隔結節，両下甲介前端及び左側中甲介前端とを生殖部と称し，月経，妊娠時此部位のコカイン塗布，腐蝕に依り鼻性月経困難症，陣痛の消退を来すとしている。

　ICHIHARA makes note of nasal mucous membrane changes that might be manifested objectively during the period of menstruation. Fifteen nurses volunteered to become subjects of this study and upon whom examinations were conducted on 43 different occasions. The results are as follows:There was a uniform periodic change that occurred in the Fliess' area in 2 cases; in 19 cases changes were recognized to be manifested in both, inferior and middle turbinates simultaneously.

　In other subjects the cahangs recognized were situated on the septum at vomeroseptal cartilage articulation, anterior portion of the septum or in the middle turbinates alone. These changes do not necessarily take the turn to worsening conditions, but on the contrary, may improve within the period of menstruation.
