　緒言

　哺乳児の口蓋粘膜に見られる褥創性潰瘍従来より「ベドナー氏アフタ」と呼ばれ，本邦に於いても2,3報告例が見られるが，最近吾々もその症例に遭遇観察し，いさゝか得る所があつたので，こゝに報告したいと思う。

Koide and Takimoto report a case of aph-thous stomatitis that occurred in an infant, 4 months of age, who was affected with conge-nital syphilis. The location of lesions was on the hard palate where mechanical irritation is most likely to occur. And the cause of which may be due to force with which the infant may exert in sucking or the way in which the infant's mouth may be cleansed. As malnutri-tion leads the infant to be prone to this affec-tion, nutritional build-up is essentially important as well as instituting a propr oral hygeine for its prevention.
