原田氏病にみられる聴力障碍について

　原田氏病は頭痛，悪心，嘔吐等の髄膜刺戟症状をもつて初発し，急激に視力障碍を来し，亜急性の経過をとつて数ヶ月後漸く快方に向うと云われるが，本症は眼葡萄膜のうち主として眼後部脈絡膜を侵すとされ，前眼部を侵す小柳・Vogt氏病に比して一般に予後はやゝ佳良である。本症に伴う聴力障碍については従来，城所^1），勝木^2）3）4），後藤・本庶^5），原口^6），古川^7），松本・山本^8）氏等の報告があるが，私共は今回数例について経過を追つて観察する機会を得たのでこゝに報告し，文献資料に追加する。

Taguchi and Shiida made studies and com-ments on hearing impairments that occur in Harada's disease which is characterized by symp-toms consisting of headache, chills, nausea, meningeal irritation and sudden onset of visio-nary disturbances. The disease is self-limited in its course with subacute conditions lasting for a few months which is followed by spon-taneous recovery. Aside from the symptoms mentioned above there is another which is manifested by hearing impairment. The author believes that the causative agent of this disease is due to virus infection and the seat in which invasion occur to be in the inner ear. The hearing loss thus met with is reversible and recovery occur spontaneously.
