早期に眼圧上昇のみられた原田氏病の1例

Increased Ocular Tension as an Initial Sign of Disease of Harada

I．緒言

　1926年，原田永之助が一種の脈絡膜炎の臨床症状および経過を詳しく観察し，これに急性瀰慢性脈絡膜炎と命名して以来，今日までこの疾患に関する多数の報告がみられるが，初期に眼圧のいちじるしく上昇した例は私達の調査した範囲内では見当らない。

A case of Harada's disease in a 58-year-old female is described in which acute rise of intra-ocular tension occurred at the onset of themeningeal irritation and optic papillitis which belong to the initial signs of the disease. The binocular rise of intraocular tension normalized after iridectomy. From the third week after onset on, signs of diffuse papillitis with exten-sive retinal detachment and serious visual loss developed.
