緒言
臨床的に血瘤腫の名称の下に報告されて来たものは既に大正6年田所氏報告より以来100例に達したが，臨床的には極めて興味ある所見を呈するものであり，その成立機転にも不明の部分が多いので，この種文献の一端として著者が最近に経験した症例を報告せんとするものである。
YOSHIDA reports a case of hematoma fou-nd in the maxillary sinus. The etiology of this condition appear to have been caused by re-peated hemorrhages which occurred within the substance of the polyps present in the sinus cavity, The diagnosis is made at the time of operation on the patient, a woman aged 19. who presented herself for consultation with comp-laints of impaired breathing, profuse nasal dis-charge of considerable period of standing and of semilateral leftsided headache or a short duration. The X-Ray examination showed a heavy shaddow in the left maxillary sinus.
