口蓋扁桃腫瘍を思わせた咽頭混合腫瘍の1例

　緒言

　混合腫瘍は耳下線に最も屡々見られ，稀に口蓋・頬部，外鼻・舌等に発生する事がある。又，咽頭に於ける腫瘍の発生は，良性・悪性腫瘍共に極めて多種多様であるが，咽頭に於ける混合腫瘍は極めて稀であり，欧米に於てはProby，Wood，Stevenson，Bühr，Glas等の報告があるのみで，我国に於ては僅かに久保氏の1例を見るに過ぎない。

　我々は，久保氏の例と同様に，口蓋扁桃腫瘍を思わせ，而も耳下線に関係を有する如き咽頭混合腫瘍の1例を経験したのでここに追加報告する次第である。

　SOHMA and associates report a case of a mixed tumor of the pharynx that presented a difficulty in diagnosis. Clinically it was misconstrued es a cancer of the right tonsil when the patient, a woman aged 65, complained of a swelling in her throat that began about 6 months previously to gradually increase in size. The operation revealed the growth to be fituated in the pharyngeal wall and the lower end of which extending into the tonsil fossa, on one hand, and, the upper end in close proximity parotid gland, on the other. The authors are in agreement with Proby's theory in the origin of this type of malignancy.
