2・3の鼻科疾患に対する新ヂスクレーンの効果に就いて

　近時，吾科領域疾患の粘膜病的分泌抑制の目的に種々の藥剤が使用され，相当の効果が認められている様である。私もこの目的のために作られた，日本新藥提供の新ヂスクレーンを都南病院耳鼻科外来のアレルギー性鼻炎，慢性副鼻腔炎（術後急性再発症を含む）等の患者に使用し，次の結果を得たので報告する。

　新ヂスクレーンは睡蓮科植物有効エキス（ヂスクレーン）と抗ヒスタミン剤Diphenhydraminehydrochloride U. S. P. XIV）の10mgを2cc中に含有する。ヂスクレーンは漿液性及び粘液性の分泌に対し逓減作用を有し，本剤は之等両者の作用を兼有する事を特徴としている。ヂスクレーンの本態に関しては非アルカロイドの配糖体と推程定せられている。尚本剤中の抗ヒスタミン剤の構造式は次の如くである。

　WATANABE reports that, in treatment of nasal allergies, chronic sinusitis and the sinusitis which recur postoperatively following the operation on the sinus, the use of 'Neo-Diskrain' is highly effective. The comcosition of this drug is in part an extract derived from a plant, family lilly, which is combined with the antihistaminic, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, U. S. P.. It is made available for use by means of subcutaneous injections containing 10mg of the combined agents dissolved in 2cc of distilled water. That the eosinophelia, both, in the blood and the nasal discharge showed a definite decrease with daily administration of 2cc of the drug subcutaneously. No side reactions are noted in its use excepting a sensation of slight drowsiness which does not interfere the course of therapy to any appreciable extent.
