　和昭26年の冬，手芸用ビニール細管が市販された時，之は医療方面にも何か面白い利用法があるのではないかと着目し，色々の方面に試用して見たところ，かなり利用価値がある樣に思われたので，茲に紹介して御追試を願うと共に更に新しい利用法の御教示を得ば幸甚である。

INOUYE reports that there are a multiple usages of tubules that are made of venyl plastic material in various colors and sizes. In treatment of tubotympanitis such a tube may be inserted into the tuba auditiva to facilitate removal of exudate in the middle ear cavity. In the care of postoperative wounds different colored tubules may be inserted alongside gauze packing to aid proper drainage as well as affording a means through which drug solutions might be instilled to avoid postoperative infections. These tubules come in handy in continuous intravenous injections.
