　緒言

　私は最近左右の前頭洞が融合して，大きな單一洞となり，而も兩側共に眼窩内に破れ，更に左側では，その後壁が崩壊消失して，硬脳膜外膿瘍を合併していた前頭洞ピオケーレを經験したので，これを報告して，先人の症例に追加しようと思う．

KATAYAMA reports a case of pyocele of the fron-tal sinus which occurred in patient who was affected with tuberculous infiltration of the lungs. The sinuses on both sides were involved in such a way that they were made into a single large cavity and an extra-dural abcess was revealed on the left. The patient is cured by Killian's operative procedure. Progress of the case etiology of pyocele, occular involvement and difference in character of contents of the pyocele on the two sides are commented upon: Various reflexes. such as. Babinski. Mendel-Bechterew and Rossolimo, signs of extra-pyramidal tract involvement are discussed.
