根治手術後の上顎洞にムコケーレとピオケーレの併存せる1例

　上顎洞根治手術後多年を経て犬歯窩から上顎鼻唇溝にかけて頬部の腫脹を来す場合先づ考えられるものは術後性頬部嚢腫（久保）である。私等は「30年前に上顎洞根治手術を行つた患者の上顎洞内にムコケーレとピオケーレの併存するのを認め，類似疾患の既往文献と照合してみた結果，此等とは稍々所見を異にすると思われるので，茲に報告し，種々考按して諸賢の御批判を仰ぎたい。

KAWASAKI AND IKEUCHI report a finding of simultaneous existence of pyocele and muco-cele in the maxillary sinus. A woman, aged 50, who was operated on both maxillary sinus about 30 years previously, complained of painful swelling of the right cheek. A tenative diagno-sis of Kubo's Postoperative Malar Cyst was made and the right maxillary sinus was opened.

The two existing tumors were divided by a th-in bony partition iwhich lay in between them.

These growths proved to be unrelated to post-operative cystic degenerations which are often reported in the literature. X-ray pictures are presented.
