緒言
カツパチスムスとは発音の際カ行音に於て構音出來なく之に代るにタ行音ナ行音又ア行音ハ行音を発音する構音障碍である．
Nadolecznyに依ると閉鎖音に対するSt mmelnの内でKGの発音障碍は訥音の48.4％であると言われて居り，之に依るとカ行音発音障碍はかなり多くあるように思われる．
Homma says in cases of defective speech caused by tonguetie speech corrective exercise alone is inadequate for relief of this condition but, when those corrective exercises are ateceded by frenotomy, the patients should, be completely cured. An adult male, 22 years of age, complaining of speech defect was diagnosed as the condition being due to tonguetie. Frenotomy is performed and corrective exercises in speech are later instituted. The patient makes a complete recovery of his normal speech as is shown by records of his palatographs in comparison to those of normal persons.
