　緒言

　鼻腔粘膜は諸種の反射道（Reflexbahn）を有して居り此の粘膜に與へられた刺戟が鼻自己又は他の器官に一定の影響（機能）を與へると言ふ事は古くから稱へられて居る．此の中で反射作用の發動區域が鼻腔内に存して之が鼻腔以外の遠隔場所の器官に，ある症候を表はすと言ふ事實は興味のある問題である．

　之に就て從來の記載を拾へば次の樣である．

The author finds influence of nasal reflex neu-rosis on functions of the heart in a boy, 16 years of age. The patient was treated for extra-systole in the medical department without ef-efct.

Nasal exanimation revealed edematous thicken-ing of mucons membrane over the anterior wall of Sphenoid Sinus, and a diagnosis of nasal reflex neurosis was made, as therapy, submu-cous reacition of nasal septum was perfonned; free passage of olfactory cleft was established; and symptom complex of neurosis was abated.
