I．はじめに

　動脈壁の細菌感染により形成される細菌性脳動脈瘤は，その大部分が細菌性心内膜炎に合併し，臨床症状，好発部位，治療などにおいて，いわゆる"berryaneurysm"とは異なった，いくつかの特徴を有する．

　最近，著者らは，細菌性心内膜炎に合併した細菌性脳動脈瘤3例を経験したので，特にその診断および治療に関して，文献的考察を加え報告する．

Three cases of bacterial intracranial aneurysms associated with infective endocarditis are reported. All of the patients were successfully treated by various combinations of cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and che-motherapy with antibiotics.

Case 1 : A 39-year-old female was admitted with the complaint of sudden onset of severe headache following persistent fever of several month's duration. CT scan revealed a left frontal old hematoma and angiography detected an aneurysm located in the frontal ascending branch of the left middle cerebral artery.
