  • Look Inside

An occurrence of intracranial aneurysms in 3 of 4 siblings of a family was found and 2 of them were treated successfully by aneurysmal neck clipping.

Case 1. Male, 43 years of age. In early May, 1972, he suddenly complained of a severe headache and subsequently noticed diplopia and left ptosis. On July 13, 1972, left frontotemporal craniotomy was performed and a left ICPC aneurysm was clipped at the neck.

Case 2. Female, 47 years of age (an elder sister of Case 1). On July 28, 1972, she suddenly suffered from severe headache, vomiting and transient clouding of consciousness.
