I．はじめに

　頭蓋内神経鞘腫は全脳腫瘍のうちの7.5％を占め，そのほとんどは聴神経および三叉神経より発生し^13,20,24），他の神経より発生することは稀である．特に頭蓋内舌下神経鞘腫は極めて稀であり，今日までわれわれが検索し得た限りでは29例が報告されているにすぎない^{1-10,12,14,16-19,21,23-29）}．そのほとんど，すなわちBerger^4）の報告例以外の28例に舌下神経麻痺がみられた．今回われわれは全く舌下神経麻痺をきたさず，術前のCTがその診断に非常に有用であった症例を経験したので，考察を加え報告する．

A case of intracranial hypoglossal neurinoma is reported. A 32-year-old man with a history of un-steady gait and headache for one and a half years was admitted to our hospital on September 23, 1983.

Neurological findings on admission were nystagmus toward the left, left IXth and Xth cranial nerve paresis, left cerebellar signs, paresthesia of the left upper and lower extrimities on neck flexion, and left pyramidal signs. Atrophy or fasciculation of the tongue was not noted.
