I．はじめに

　suprasellar germinomaは，第3脳室先端部から視交叉部に原発するtwo cell pattern pinealomaで，ectopic pinealomaと呼ばれており，また景山^2,3）らにより尿崩症，視力障害および下垂体前葉機能低下症の特徴的な三主徴を有する疾患名として報告されている．しかし1954年，Russell^5）はinfundibular-suprasellar regionに発生するectopic pinealomaは松果体の実質細胞とは無関係であり，松果体部のatypical teratomaと組織学的に同一であると述べ，またFriedman^1）が，発生場所の如何にかかわらず，seminomaあるいはdysgerminomaと同様の組織学的特徴を有したものをgerminomaと命名して以来，一般に第3脳室先端部から視交叉部に原発するectopic pinealomaはsuprasellar germinomaと呼ばれている．われわれは手術および剖検により確認された9例のsuprasellar germinomaと，胞体がエオジンに好染する不規則な形をした大型のchorioepithelioma cellに類似する細胞からなる，稀な原発性suprasellar choriocarcinomaの1例を経験したので，これら10例の臨床，病理所見および内分泌学的所見について，文献的考察を加えて報告する．

We have reported the results of the clinico pathological and the endocrinological study in nine cases of the suprasellar germinoma and one case of the primary suprasellar choriocarcinoma, verified by surgery and autopsy.

Patients ranged in age from 6 years old 27 years old and females were more frequently affected. Six patients showed the characteristic clinical symptoms of the ectopic pinealoma which consist of the diabetes insipidus, hypofunction of the anterior pituitary lobe, disturbance in visual acuity and visual field.
