Ⅰ．緒言

　脳動静脈奇形（以下AVMと略す）に脳動脈瘤を合併する症例は比較的稀でその発生機序および治療に関しては問題の多いところである．著者らは1957年より1975年末迄に140例のAVM（ただしdural AVMは除く）を経験し，そのうち9例に脳動脈瘤の合併を認め，深部AVMの1例を除いたすべてにAVM全摘術と脳動脈瘤根治術を行い治癒せしめたので症例とともに若干の考察を加え報告する．

Nine cases of intracranial aneurysm associated with cerebral arteriovenous malformation were found in a total of 140 cerebral AVM cases (6.4%) at Tohoku University School of Medicine from 1959 to 1975. Hemorrhages including intracerebral hematomas were found in 7 cases. The bleeding sources were presumed to be the AVM in 3 cases, the aneurysm in 3 and both in 1 case. Convulsion occurred in 3 cases. The aneurysm was situated in the main feeding artery to the angioma in 4 cases, proximal to the origin of the main feeding artery in 3 and unrelated to the angioma in 2.
