　患者は64歳の女性。発熱，食欲低下のため内科を受診した。超音波検査にて右腎に腫瘤を認めたため当科に紹介となった。腹部CTで右腎にわずかに造影される腫瘤を認めたので，右腎細胞癌と診断して根治的腎摘術を施行。腫瘍割面は淡褐色で，腫瘍細胞は豊富な胞体の網状を呈し，渡銀染色，コロイド鉄染色に陽性，サイトケラチン陽性，ビメンチン陰性であった。この所見から嫌色素細胞性腎癌と診断した。4年6か月が経過したが再発の兆候は認めていない。

We present a case of chromophobe cell renal carcinoma. A 64-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital becauseof a right renal mass incidentally found on ultrasonographyduring the therapy of acute pyelonephritis. An abdominalCT scan revealed a tumor of the right kidney. Based onthese findings, we diagnosed the tumor as a renal cellcarcinoma of the right kidney and radical nephrectomy wasperformed. The cross section of the tumor was grey-brown. Microscopically, tumor cells have abundant and finelyreticulated cytoplasm.
