　70歳男性が，半年間続く右臀部皮膚腫瘍の切除を受け，腎細胞癌の皮膚転移と診断された。その後，画像診断で左腎癌および右肺転移と診断し，左腎摘除術および右肺下葉切除術を受けた。病理組織学的には腎細胞癌とその転移であった。本例は皮膚転移から発見された潜在性腎癌の本邦25例目に相当する。

A 70-year-old man was diagnosed as having occult renalcell carcinoma with metastasis to the skin of the buttockafter resection of a right gluteal skin tumor that had persistedfor 6 months. Subsequent imaging studies revealed leftrenal cancer and a metastasis to the right lung, so heunderwent left nephrectomy and right lower lobe resection. Histpathological examination showed renal cell carcinomaand lung metastasis. This is the 25th case of occult renalcancer detected by skin metastasis in Japan.
