　患者は49歳男性，両側尿管腫瘍による閉塞性腎不全にて来院。左腎尿管全摘除術および右尿管摘除術および膀胱部分切除術を行った。右腎は腎瘻を造設し保存した。組織型は右尿管は高分化型扁平上皮癌，左尿管は移行上皮癌grade 2であった。術後，化学療法2コースと放射線療法を施行した。術後8ヵ月を経過したが再発の徴候は認められない。

The patient was a 49-year-old man in a uremic state due to bilateral ureteral obstructions suggestive of ureteral tumors. Right ureterectomy and left nephroureterectomy with partial cystectomy were perfor-med, and right kidney was preserved with nephrostomy. By pathological examination the right ureter tumor was well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, pT₃b, and the left tumor was transitional cell carcinoma, grade 2, pT₃b. Two courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy were performed. Follow-up examinations eight months after operation did not demonstrate metastatic disease or recurrence.
