限局性尿管アミロイドーシス

LOCALIZED AMYLOIDOSIS OF THE URETER: REPORT OF A CASE

　無症候性肉眼的血尿を主訴として受診した限局性尿管アミロイドーシスの1例を報告した。症例は64歳の女性で，術前尿管腫瘍を否定できなかったが，手術中の迅速病理により悪性所見を認めず，尿管部分切除と尿管膀胱新吻合術を施行した。術後経過も良好である。

A 65-year-old woman was hospitalized because of asymptomatic macrohematuria. An excretory urogram showed left hydronephrosis and stenosis of the left distal ureter was demonstrated by antegrade pyelography. Physical examination showed no specific abnormality and laboratory findings were normal. Frozen section examination of the excised mass revealed no evidence of malignancy. The left kidney therefore was preserved by partial ureterectomy and ureterovesiconeostomy. Histopathologic examination by Congo red stain proved amyloid deposition. Rectal biopsy was negative for amyloid. The postopera-tive course was uneventful.
