緒言
Gil-Vernetによる尿道形成術は，陰嚢皮膚弁を利用するため複雑な後部尿道狭窄に対して有効な手術方法である。われわれは過去後部尿道狭窄5例に対してGil-Vernetの尿道形成術を用い良好な結果を得たので報告する。
Five patients underwent urethroplasty by the method of Gil-Vernet for posterior urethral stricture. Two of them were repaired by the original and three by the modified method.
The results were satisfactory in all cases without regular urethral dilatation. Since extensible scrotal skin flap is used in Gil-Vernet's method, operating is much easily done even for longer and heavily damaged strictures, compaired wth other skin-inlay operations.
Urethral stone formation and infection by encrusted residual scrotal hair might be debatable problem, although we have not such experience yet.
