鼻・副鼻腔転移により発見された腎細胞癌の1例

A CASE OF RENAL CELL CARCINOMA REVEALED BY METASTASIS TO THE NOSE AND PARANASAL SINUS

緒言

　腎細胞癌の鼻・副鼻腔転移の報告は比較的少なく，またその多くは耳鼻科領域で報告されており，泌尿器科領域での報告はわずかしかみられない。最近著者らは鼻・副鼻腔転移により発見された腎細胞癌の1例を経験したので若干の考察を加え報告する。

A 64-year-old man visited otolaryngeal clinic with the chief complaint of epistaxis. Biopsy of nasal cavity showed "clear cell carcinoma".

A tumor of the right kidney with metastasis to the right nose and paranasal sinus was suspected by otolaryngological and urological examinations.

Transperitoneal radical right nephrectomy was performed. Postoperative course was favorable.

Pathologically, the renal tumor was relatively well differentiated renal cell carcinoma of clear cell type, which was consistent to the findings of the biopsy of nasal cavity.
