　われわれは下腹部無痛性腫瘤を訴えて受診した患者がヨード過敏症であつたため，経静脈性腎孟尿管撮影，骨盤動脈撮影が行なえず，また膀胱撮影，注腸透視では腫瘍の存在を認めることができても原発臓器の判定が不能であつた症例に，下腹部接触複合走査法および経直腸的超音波断層法を施行し，後者で得られた前立腺エコー像から前立腺原発の肉腫を強く疑い，手術所見ならびに摘出標本の組織学的検査で前立腺平滑筋肉腫が確認された1例を経験したので報告する。

A 48-year-old man visited our hospital with the chief complaint of painless mass in the lower abdo-men.

On physical examination. there was a tumor in the midline suprapubically, but it was unable to determine the original organ of" the tumor by meticulous examinations.

Transrectal ultrasonotomography revealed. however, that the tumor was originated from the left lobe of the prostate and invaded into the the retrovesical space.

Surgery was performed under general anesthesia, and the tumor which was of child's head-size, covered with a thin capsule, was removed together with the bladder
