緒言

　腎臓に原発する横紋筋肉腫はきわめてまれであり，本邦では丘ら（1948）の1例と影沢ら（1953）の2例の報告をみるに過ぎない。われわれは最近，48歳の女子に発生した腎臓原発横紋筋肉腫の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A case of rhabdomyosarcoma of the left kidney was reported. A 40 year-old female was admitted with the complaint of macroscopic hematuria and fever. Radiological examinations showed a tumor of the left kidney and left nephrectomy was performed. Histopathological findings were of primary rhabdomyosarcoma of the left kidney. Postoperatively, chemotherapy and irradiation were performed. The patient is in good health with no sign of recurrence, 6 months after surgery. Diagnosis and treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma were discussed.
