緒言

　睾丸腫瘍の多くは悪性であり，良性腫瘍はまれなものである。とくに睾丸の類表皮嚢腫はきわめてまれなものとされているが，われわれは最近，本症の1例を経験したので，ここに報告し，若干の考察を加える。

Epidermoid cyst of the testicle is considered as a rare disease and 17 cases are reported in the Japanese literature. A case, in a 21 year old male with the chief complaint of painless induration of the left scrotal content, was reported.

A thumb tip sized, painless cartilage hard nodule with smooth surface was palpated at the tail of left epididymis and no other abnormality was found by clinical examination.

The diagnosis of left chronic epididymitis, suspicious of tuberculosis, was made and left orchiectomy was performed, since the operative diagnosis was testicular tumor.
