　臨床的に広く用いられているCorticoid軟膏の効果判定法としてdouble blind testがあるが，その総合判定に納得のいく統計処理を試みた報告は意外に少く，検定成績を杜撰なものにしている。かような見地から，私達はdouble blindtestで得られた成績を総合判定するにあたり検討した結果，判定基準を厳格に定めて判定，Waldの逐次検定法，BrossのRidit法を応用して検定を行えば，少数例で良果が得られることが判つた。この3検定法並びにこれらの検定法を2,3軟膏の比較に応用検討した成績について報告する。

Methods for determination of therapeutic effects of corticosteroid ointments (by ODT) are evaluated in psoriasis and chronic eczema. They are composed of two processes,

(1) Setting marks of clinical effects for judgement by double blind test and (2) comparison of the effects of different kinds of ointments with three different methods-Walanalysis sequential analysis, Bross's ridit analysis and the modified sequential analysis by the ridit analysis

The results are as follows;

(1) With any of these three methods satisfactory results of determination of the effects can be obtained even with small groups of cases.

(2) There are no significant differences between psoriasis and chronic eczema about the kinds and degree of the clinical effects of the ointments. It makes possible to apply these tests to one mixed group composed of the two diseases.
