　はじめに

　甲状腺悪性リンパ腫は甲状腺悪性腫瘍の1％を占める疾患で，1960〜1976年には200例の報告しかなかったが，病理組織や免疫組織による診断法の進歩とともにその後の16年間で574例の報告がされており，臨床の場で遭遇する機会が増えている疾患である^1）。今回われわれは呼吸困難をきたして来院した甲状腺悪性リンパ腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 55-year-old female was complaining of a mass in the midline of the anterior portion of the neck and dyspnea. Thyroid function was normal and antithyroglobulin antibody was negative. Result offine-needle aspiration was malignant lymphoma and the patient underwent open biopsy for path-ologic confirmation. The pathologic diagnosis was B-cell, diffuse medium cell type, stage II E. Treat-ment consisted of combination chemotherapy with consolidative irradiation. The mass disappeared on physical examination and CT showed no tumor in the thyroid gland after treatment. She developed hypothyroidism and antithyroglobulin antibody became positive during follow up.
