　はじめに

　頸髄神経鞘腫は脊髄神経根から発生し椎間孔を通して脊柱管内，もしくは脊柱管内外に進展する腫瘍である^1,2）。今回著者らは，脊柱管内への進展や骨破壊を示さず，脊柱管外へ発育して頸部腫瘤が主症状となった稀な頸髄神経鞘腫症例を経験したので報告する。

Neurinoma of cervical nerve root generally expands medially or both medially and laterally. We reported a rare case of 52-year-old-man in whom C-7 cervical neurinoma extended laterally from C-6, 7 intervertebral foramen. Imaging studies including angiography and CT indicated that this tumor shifted the vertebral artery laterally without bone destruction and expansion toward the verte-bral canal. Although the tumor was successfully removed from the cervical nerve root and vertebral artery, disturbance of functions of cervical nerve and sympathetic nerve appeared after the operation.
