Salivary Duct Carcinoma of the Parotid Gland:A Case Report

　緒言

　耳下腺に発生する腫瘍は多形腺腫を始めとした良性腫瘍が多く，1施設で悪性腫瘍を扱う機会はそれほど多いとはいえない。またその組織型は多岐に分かれるため，1つの組織型癌を治療する機会は1施設でもそれほど多くはない。1991年に改訂されたWHOの組織分類では耳下腺悪性腫瘍は腺様嚢胞癌，粘表皮癌，腺房細胞癌，多形腺腫由来の癌，扁平上皮癌，腺扁平上皮癌，未分化癌，腺癌に分けられた従来の分類以外にさらに細分化されている。

　1968年にKleinsasserら^1）によって初めて報告された乳腺の導管癌に類似するsalivary duct carcinomaは，1991年のWHOの組織分類改訂では腺癌から独立した稀な疾患である。

Salivary duct carcinoma is rare and was first described by Kleinsasser in 1968.

We present a 59-year-old female who complained of right facial paresis associated with parotid gland carcinoma.

Total parotidectomy including right facial nerve transsection and right supraomohyoid neck dissec-tion was performed.

Despite of this operative procedures and postope-rative radiotherapy, the patient died of distant metastasis.
