　はじめに

　基底細胞腺癌は，1991年WHOによる唾液腺腫瘍の新分類に新たに加えられた稀な腫瘍である^1）。細胞形態は基底細胞腺腫と似ているが，増殖形態が悪性浸潤像を示すのが特徴である。今回われわれは，耳下腺に発生した基底細胞腺癌の1例を経験した。その臨床像，組織学的特徴を免疫組織科学的所見も含め，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A very rare case of basal cell adenocarcinoma of the lelt parotid gland in a 71-year-old female is reported. The patient underwent total paro-tidectomy with resection of surrounding lymph nodes. Histopathologically, the tumor was charac-terized by basaloid-appearing and infiltrative two forms of epithelial cells. There was no local recur-rence or metastasis during 8 months postope-ratively. Basal cell adenocarcinoma, which is a recently defined category of salivary gland neo-plasms, is a low grade malignant tumor, but some-times recurred. It is emphasized that appropriate operative procedure and long-term follow-up are needed for the disease.
