　はじめに

　深頸部感染症のなかでもガス産生性のものは致死率が高いとされ，適切な治療，特に外科的治療が必要になることが多い。最近われわれは1年間に3例の非クロストリジウム性頸部ガス産生性感染症を経験したので本邦における文献的考察を加えて報告する。

The first case was an 82-year-old female, and the other patient has been treated with hematodialysis. All three patients successfully treated by means ofearly extensive surgical drainage, antimicrobial therapy, local cleaning and intensive care. We re-viewed 34 cases with gas producing infections of the head and neck region in Japanese literature report-ed in the past 18 years including our 3 cases, and concluded that early diagnosis and early complete surgical debridement were most important for the management of gas producing infections.
