　I．はじめに

　カルチノイド腫瘍は消化管や気管支などの原腸由来の臓器より発生する腫瘍で，内分泌性のホルモン産生踵瘍であり，頭頸部領域の報告は極めてまれである^1）。今回われわれは，喉頭左披裂部に発生したカルチノイド腫瘍を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 71-year-old male patient complained of persistent hoarseness and sore throat for about 3 years. Indirect and direct laryngoscopy re-vealed a mass with smooth mucosal surface at the left arytenoid. Histopathological study in a biopsy specimen revealed cartinoid tumor of the larynx.

Radiation therapy of 60 Gy dose was added. 5-HIAA in urine was studied and reported as normal. Typical symptoms of carcinoid syndrome, such as flushing and edema at the skin, and ascites were not noticed in this patient. No recur-rence was found for 2 years and 3 months after the treatment.
