喉頭に発生した鰓原性囊胞の1例

Branchiogenic Cyst of the Larynx―A Case Report―

I．はじめに

　頭頸部に発生する囊胞性疾患には貯留囊胞，皮膚囊胞，鰓原性囊胞などがあり^1），耳鼻咽喉科医が比較的遭遇することの多い疾患である。鰓原性囊胞は第一～四までの鰓性器官由来の囊胞で，いずれの鰓性器官からも発生するが，日常臨床上最も頻度が高いものは側頸部に発生する側頸囊胞である^2）。これに対して，喉頭に発生した鰓原性囊胞の報告は非常に少ない^3）。

　今回われわれは，披裂部に発生した鰓原性囊胞の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 63-year-old female complained of an abnormal sensation in her throat and a cyst in her left arytenoid was found. The surface of the cyst was smooth,covered with normal mucous membrane and had a wide base observed under laryngeal fiberscopy. The cyst was removed using the neck exploration method. The cyst was 18×11mm in size.

　Histological examination revealed that the cyst was branchiogenic cyst,and we thought that this cyst was originated from the third branchial pouch.
