I．はじめに
カルチノイド腫瘍は，一般に消化管や肺より発生することの多い成長緩慢な腫瘍である。1969年のGoldmanら1）の喉頭カルチノイドの報告以来，その報告が散見されるようになったが，稀な疾患である。
今回われわれは，披裂部に限局した喉頭カルチノイドの1症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する。
A 48-year-old man complained of dysphagia.
A 7 mm erythematous lesion was found in the left arytenoid. Vocal cord mobility was intact and there was no cervical lymphadenopathy. A biopsy was taken and the diagnosis was chronic inflammation. Another biopsy after unsuccessful antiinflammatory treatment revealed carcinoid tumor. This diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemical studies. Typical symptoms of the carcinoid syndrome were not present. We performed arytenoid cartilage resection. He has survived 7 months after surgery without recurrence.
The accurate pathological identification is essential for treatment and prognosis.
