　はじめに

　喉頭癌は悪性腫瘍の中では予後の良い疾患で，当教室でも73.8％^1）の5年生存率が得られている。しかし喉頭全摘術を余儀なくされた症例における音声リハビリテーションについては十分な取り組みがなされてきたとはいえない。この点を反省し，系統的なリハビリテーションプログラムを確立する第一段階として，当教室で喉頭癌に対して行った喉頭全摘術後の代用音声獲得状況を調査したので報告する。

Voice restoration was analyzed in 25 patients who underwent total laryngectomy because of laryngeal carcinoma. Voice restoration was ach-ieved in 18 cases, 72%, and younger patients and the patients who actively attended the esophageal voice training club achieved better results.

The following voice rehabilitation program is recommended. All laryngectomized patients should join the esophageal voice training club. All pat-ients except special cases should perform esopha-geal voice exercises for about one year, and for patients who do not benefit, other methods such as electrolarynx or voice prosthesis should be recommended.
