成人川崎病の1症例

Kawasaki Disease in a Young Adult

はじめに

　川崎病は，主として4歳以下の乳幼児に好発する原因不明の急性熱性発疹性疾患である。当初は予後良好の疾患と考えられたが，症例が増えるに従って死亡例が報告され，その死因の多くが心臓後遺症によるものであることが判明したため，乳幼児の突然死を起こす疾患として注目されている。

　一方，本疾患の症状として頸部リンパ節腫脹，苺舌などが見られることは，耳鼻咽喉科医にとっても見逃すことの出来ない疾患と考えられる。

Kawasaki disease (Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome) is an acute febrile illness of unknown cause that usualy afflicts young children. This report describes a 19-year-old woman who was diagnosed as this disease because of fever lasting 5 or more days, acute nonsuppurative enlarge-ment of cervical lymph nodes, polymorphous skin eruption, bilateral injection of ocular conjunc-tivae, strawberry tongue and erythema of the oropharynx and a soft tissue swelling of the fingers followed by membranous desquamation. The only effective treatment for this disease is administration of Aspirin.
