I．はじめに

　頭頸部には良性，悪性さまざまな腫瘍が発生する。その中で血管腫は良性腫瘍としてはさほど稀な疾患ではないが，深在性のものでは時として診断に苦慮することも少なくない。とくに前頸部においては比較的頻度が少なく，甲状腺腫瘍との鑑別が問題になることがある。今回われわれは前頸部に発生した血管腫2症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Two cases of intramuscular hemangioma in the anterior cervical region were reported. Both cases were females over the age of 30 who complainedof a swelling in the region. They received total resection of the tumor along with the strap mus-cles. Pathological diagnosis was cavernous intra-muscular hemangioma in both cases. Because the incidence of the intramuscular hemangioma in this region is rare, the pre-operative diagnosis was difficult, and examinations were required to differentiate the tumor from that of thyroid. The pertinent discussion concerning the clinical examinations is presented.
