はじめに

　頸部は気管，大血管，神経などの重要組織が存在するとともに，嚥下，音声などの複雑な機能が密集している部位である。鋭的，鈍的に外傷を受けることで緊急の観血的処置を要する場合があると同時に，その後の喉頭機能温存を考慮した適切な対応が必要である。今回われわれは，刃物による頸部刺創3症例とサーフボードによる杙創1症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　We presented 4 cases of penetrating neck injuries that were treated between January 2012 and July 2012. Two patients attempted suicide by stabbing themselves and 2 other patients were accidentally wounded. Three of them had their necks penetrated with knives and another with a surfboard. Only 1 case had open injury of the larynx and we underwent total laryngectomy because the patient had dementia.

　In such cases, we must immediately diagnose the clinical status of the airway and vascular injuries, and preserve the laryngeal function to the utmost.
