Ⅰ　はじめに

　放線菌症は微好気性ないし嫌気性グラム陽性菌であるActinomyces islaelliが原因の慢性化膿性肉芽腫性疾患である。耳鼻咽喉科領域では咽喉頭および頭頸部領域に好発する。しかし，頭頸部領域の中で鼻副鼻腔領域に限局する放線菌症は稀である。今回われわれは上顎洞に限局した放線菌症を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Actinomycosis is caused by Actinomyces islaell,and is rarely found in the paranasal sinus. We report a case of actinomycosis in the maxillary sinus. He complained of pain in the left cheek and temporal area,following chemotherapy of renal carcinoma. A fungus-like lesion was found in left maxillary sinus. Computed tomography showed a calcified lesion in left maxillary sinus. We performed endoscopic sinus surgery. Histopathological examination revealed actinomyces. There have been no remarkable recurrence after the operation. We considered that surgical excision is very effective for actimomycosis of maxillary sinus.
