動眼神経麻痺を呈した蝶形骨洞囊胞の1例

A case report of sphenoid sinus cyst with oculomotor paralysis

Ⅰ　はじめに

　蝶形骨洞囊胞により視力障害や眼球運動障害を呈した報告は比較的多くみられるが，動眼神経麻痺を唯一の症状として呈した報告はきわめて稀である。今回われわれは動眼神経麻痺のみを呈した蝶形骨洞囊胞の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Sphenoid sinus cyst may cause some complications on visual function. We report a patient complaining of double vision and ptosis of the left eye caused by a sphenoid sinus cyst. These symptoms were only due to the disturbance of the left oculomotor nerve. CT and MRI showed an expanding cystic lesion with bone defect at the sphenoid sinus compressing the left cavernous sinus. We performed endoscopic sinus surgery immediately. And within a few days,these symptoms were improved. About 2 months later,all symptoms were disappeard.
