　I．はじめに

　ヒトの放線菌症はIsrael^4），Ponfick^20）によつて記載された。本症は頸部，顔面領域が冒されやすく，全体の半数以上を占めている。Cope^2）は彼が収集した1330例中56％は頭頸部であつたと報告している。Porter^11）は北東部スコットランドにおいて頸部，顔面領域の罹患は75％であつた。New ＆ Figi^9）は米国において68％は頸部，顔面放線菌症であつたという。しかし鼻，副鼻腔の放線菌症の報告例は欧米諸国でもきわめて数少ない。最近前頭洞に発生した放線菌症と思われる1例を経験したので報告する。著者が通覧したところでは，本邦においては副鼻腔放線菌症についての報告がなかなか見当たらない，参考に付したい。

　A woman, aged 68, complained of a fistulous swelling of the left upper eyelid that shut off the vision on that side. The patient reported that at about the age 18 a small tumor appeared on the palpebrum. This swelling gradually increased in size over the bony rim and developed a fistulous opening exposing the bony structure beneath.

　Examination showed a fistula of the frontal bone. The patient was operated with removal of a part of the frontal bone, and the ethmoid. Culture obtained from the removed bony tissue showed a growth of actinomycosis. The patient is doing well at present postoperatively.
