上顎骨放線状菌症

　放線状菌症は人体の種々なる部位を侵襲するが，殊に口腔を中心として顔面，頸部等に現われることが多く，瘻々非定型的症状を呈し，診断上困難を覚ゆると共に，他方本症は比較的難治の疾患とされている。

　従来口腔領域の本症は，下顎智歯及び第1大臼歯に関連して下顎に現われるものが最も多く，上顎に発生する場合は非常に少く，わが科領域よりの報告は殆んどみられない。私は最近，化膿性上顎骨々髄炎様症状を呈し，その既往歴より上顎梅毒を疑われたが，組織学的検索の結果，上顎骨放線状菌症と診断された1例を経験し，病巣部の摘出及びレ線照射により短時日に治癒せしめ得たので，茲にその概略を報告し先人の記載に追加する次第である。

A case of actinomycosis of the maxillary bone is reported. A woman, aged 40, com-plained of the swelling of the right upper jaw and presence of fistula.Clinically,osteo-myletis was suspected and the history of the patient suggested syphilitic involvement of the maxilla: laboratory examination proved the affection to be a centralized in fection of actinomycosis of the maxillary bone.The infectious focus was opened and removed by surgical means and the area was treated with X-ray irradiation: the patient recovered une-ventfully.
